Pumpkin Muffins: A Fall Weekend Must-Bake
Easy and Delicious Pumpkin Muffins for Kids

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 large egg
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, milk, oil, and egg.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
- You can also add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit to the batter.
- To make sure the muffins are cooked through, insert a toothpick into the center of a muffin. If the toothpick comes out clean, the muffins are done.
